THE TIPS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE GOING TO NUSA PENIDA ISLAND

Picture
It is important for everyone to enjoy while going on a trip. Therefore I'm sharing my experience,
thoughts, and recommendations about my trip to Nusa Penida island that most of you have requested. Firstly there are so many things
you can do here, however, we decided to take for a one day (7 hrs) trip to explore three breathtaking panoramas located in this island.

As my friends and I were staying in Seminyak, we had to leave our hotel at 6:30AM. We then arrived at the Sanur Port
at 7:30AM and to leave the island at 8AM. From the port, our speedboat to Nusa Penida took around 45 minutes and
it costs $50 for each of us inclusive of lunch and four top destinations, including
Pinkie Beach (Kelingling Beach), Angel Billabong, Broken Beach, and Crystal Bay. Find more details below.

We had lunch at the restaurant at 2 PM and continued traveling to our last destination, which was Crystal Bay.
At 4pm, we left Nusa Penida island to go back to Sanur Port.

There are some useful tips to remember:

1. Wear sandals & shorts
I realized it was a huge mistake to wear shoes to go to this island. Try not to wear long pants or proper shoes
because it is tedious as you are required to take off your shoes before getting into the speedboats.
Bring plastic bags and be prepared to get wet.

2. Bring along tissue and sanitary.
If you are there to shoot, it’s best to bring a huge bag as you will be traveling around the island by a car.

3. Telkomsel provider only.
If you are not a Telkomsel holder, be ready to become unreachable once you reached this island.
You might not be able to reach out until you are at the bay.

4. Prepare some small notes
As ATMs are rarely found on the island, it is best to prepare small notes in your wallet. This will be useful as you might
have to pay for toilets, the locals ($ 0.50 cents) for parking, and some coconuts ($3 - 4) that you can find at some small stores.

5. Bring a water bottle and small snacks
As we are climbing on rough tracks, It’s truly important to always keep hydrated. Bringing a water bottle
and light snacks will help you to fuel up your stomach which will prevent you from getting sick during the trip.

6. Be aware of the bumping trek
The last thing you have to remember before going to this island is to always stay focus. I know that
most of us are going there for vacation, however, please mind that safety is still our priority.
We know that this island is filled with beautiful panoramas, but unfortunately, some tracks are not well structured
which are dangerous for some people who are not experienced. You will understand this once you
step on Kelingking Beach. Focus, concentrate, and stay safe!

Have a great holiday everyone!
